MY STORY

Ecotherapist, life transition guide, artist, author, and founder of the Archeus Apothecary.

For many, there is a feeling that modern life has become disconnected from a sense of wholeness. My work seeks to help us rediscover ourselves and our world as interconnected.

The ancients understood us as part of something much larger—a 'microcosm of the macrocosm.' Hippocrates the ‘father of modern medicine’, said that ‘to be a physician, first one must know the stars’. They also knew that care of the soul was central to our health and wellbeing, both individually and collectively.

Until the late Renaissance, music, art, color, gems, plants, landscapes, spirituality, and the stars were all part of the ‘medicine’ for our soul. Philosophers and 'physicians of the soul' taught us that 'if the soul ails, then the body ails.'

This perspective invites us to think deeply and connect with what truly nourishes us. It can help us build resilience and compassion as we navigate life transitions and a rapidly changing world.

I feel called to continue this work in today’s world. Over many years now I have deepened my knowledge of this approach, studied, trained and shown up in the world with the intention of helping others who also wish to develop their own soul journey.

My work is offered through coaching, online resources, in-person workshops, and traditional art materials. It's created to help you weave a soul-based approach into your life, work, creativity, contemplation, and care of others.

Georgina Langdale is dedicated to helping people navigate major life transitions—from menopause through to the final stages of life. A herbalist, coach, reiki practitioner, and ecotherapist, her approach to healing is informed by a near-death experience in childhood and shaped by the teachings of Hildegard of Bingen, Marsilio Ficino, and Paracelsus. Her work with the dying led her to formal training in spiritual companionship and end-of-life care.

Georgina has developed and delivered numerous workshops, online courses, and compassionate care trainings for health professionals and individuals, including palliative and hospice nurses. She is a regular speaker at conferences and events. Her book 50 Things to Help When Life Changes was published in 2024.

She is also the founder of Archeus, an award-winning herbal apothecary known for its NatFem Botanics range, created to support women’s wellbeing through natural, plant-based formulations.

Before establishing Archeus, Georgina worked across radio, television, and print media; ran a cultural communications agency in London; contributed to global sustainability initiatives at the United Nations Environment Programme; and worked at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. HOW IT ALL BEGAN

Experiencing Oneness

A childhood event changed me forever. In the midst of trauma, I became aware of oneness. I moved into the formlessness beyond form. I was in my body and yet I was also everywhere and connected to everything. I had become a quantum equation. This experience reframed my relationship with the world around me, and gave me a glimpse of our final life transition, removing any fear of the dying process. I was able to see and sense the energy of plants, trees, landscape, and become cognisant of the way spirit moves through all things. In learning how to work with this connection for my own healing, I could see how it can help others too.
