Coming together to share knowledge

Since establishing Archeus back in 2013, I've been working with the healing power of nature in a rich variety of ways to support the wellbeing of mind, body and spirit especially through life changes and transitions.

I love sharing my knowledge and practical experience of this work, and running workshops and online offerings is a real joy.

My approach is grounded in earthy practicality and inspired by the teachings of visionary historical figures. I like to combine this ancient wisdom with modern-day practices. I've been privileged to teach here in New Zealand and internationally.

I'd love to welcome you to one of my in-person workshops.

This workshop is a joyous celebration of the healing power of nature. We'll explore the magic of working with plant essences to support emotional and soulful wellbeing.

You'll learn about how to tap into the energetics of a plant, and how to find the 'signatures' that help guide you to its particular benefits. We'll look at four plants indepth.

"To learn more about the nature and plant essences / elixirs etc is to understand what it is to be human more. The more I learn about what it is to be human, the more I feel I am living my life well." – Rachel

We'll look at ways to use plant essences in different life situations and transitions. You'll make your own plant essences blends, and you'll even get some colouring pencils out and get creative!

Botanica - Working with Nature in Palliative and Soul Care

SUMMER 2026 DATES AVAILABLE

This one day in-person workshop looks at ways we can work with the healing and connecting power of nature at the bedside.

Whether supporting someone through an illness, or navigating the end of life, this workshop explores ways we can bring nature into the room through the use of plant essences, essential oils, waters and salves.

We will look at ways nature is used to create meaning and connection for body and soul, for everyone in the room and you will learn how to make your own caring botanical products.

The way you have cared for family and friends at the end of life by gently linking them to nature has been profound. As a nurse I have seen just how special it is for everyone in the room and I love your anointing oils and essences.”

— Olivia, R.N.

This workshop is suitable for family members, coaches, therapists, hospice workers and doulas.

The workshop will take place in in Havelock North and places are limited.

Hildegard’s Healing Wisdom for Women in the 2nd Half of Life

SUMMER 2026 DATES AVAILABLE

The 12th century abbess, Hildegard of Bingen was an extaordinary force to be reckoned with, and an inspiration for women today, especially those in the second half of life. She was a nun, an artist, composert, herbalist, writer and community leader. Her ideas can help us with our own health, creativity, wellbeing and resilience in today’s changing world.

While a benedictine nun, many of Hildegard’s ideas have resonances with other spiritual and nature-based paths, from Celtic druids to the Vedic healers of India, and it is this that we will explore. Her perspective was profoundly female and resolutely grounded in nature. Her understanding of the medicinal properties of plants, the way she sees how the things we tell ourselves can shape the world around us, and her thoughts on food, exercise and the materials we surround ourselves with create a compelling and practical roadmap for life in the 21st century.

Hildegard stepped into her own power in her mid-40s, and at a time when the average life expectancy of women was 35, she lived to the age of 83. In recognition of the second half of her life, we will use this workshop to celebrate and empower the second half of ours.

In this introductory workshop we will explore the following:

  • Hildegard’s extraordinary life story – a woman in a man’s world
  • The mystic’s art – we will look at some of her extraordinary artworks and music
  • The idea of vices & virtues  - how we can change our own self-talk
  • Where emotions are mapped on the body – and how to work with them
  • Hildegard’s thoughts for a better life – everything is connected

This will be a deeply experiential workshop and a wonderful taster for a fuller online offering available in 2026.

This inperson workshop will take place in Havelock North and places are limited.

IN-PERSON WORKSHOPS

Connect to Nature

The day workshop was so enjoyable, and I learnt so much and enjoyed being with amazing women. The teaching and information taught ignited many sparks and interests for me and strengthened my understanding and connection to nature and plants. The most unfortunate thing for me was how fast the time went and wanting to spend more time in the garden and connecting with plants. You are such a special person Georgina, and I love everything you do and how you do it. I look forward to more. - Raynor
