Georgina Langdale BIO
Georgina Langdale has always believed in the transformative power of nature and its ability to help us in health, beauty and wellbeing.
The first 25 years of Georgina’s professional career included running a cultural communications agency in London, working for the Royal Botanic Gardens of Kew and at the United Nations Environment Programme on a major study into human impact and interrelationship with biodiversity and ecosystems.
It was nature she instinctively turned to for support after childhood trauma. This led to life-long studies into how we have worked with nature for healing and connection throughout time.
Trained as a herbalist, massage therapist, reiki master and shamanic healer, as well as in environmental science. This has included studying with Alberto Villoldo at the Four Winds Light Body School, Sandra Ingerman, Rosemary Gladstar and with the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.
Georgina is passionate about communicating the healing power of nature and is frequently asked to speak at events, she has written articles and columns for publications and has appeared on national television. Hundreds of people have attended one of her workshops. She is currently developing online learning opportunities and writing a book.
In 2018 Georgina received an award from Good Magazine for her work helping people connect to nature to help them through life transitions. She has also been a finalist for New Zealand Sustainability Champion.
