NATURE PROVIDES..... AND WE GIVE BACK
It’s quite simple really: I believe that as nature provides so much for us, it’s only right that we should give something back. This all about respect and care and well, basic good manners!
When I started out setting up my business Archeus in my kitchen in 2013, I knew that right from the word go, nature would be at the heart of everything I do, including the business structure.
So I made sure that some proceeds from every single purchase my lovely customers made would go into a piggy bank for plant conservation and habitat restoration.
And I still do that today and every course purchase, coaching session and workshop here on this site contributes to that piggy bank too.
I have been using those funds to support the amazing efforts of the children at a small rural primary school in Central Hawke’s Bay on the east coast of the north island of New Zealand. They’ve been doing some superb habitat restoration work around their school, which is called Argyll East Primary School.
They’re planting native species all around the school and along a pretty little creek. They’ve got a shade house where they raise seedlings. They get parents involved to help them build fences and just make everything wonderful.
They know the names of the different plants and all about the birds and bugs that live among them. They’re really passionate about looking after mother nature.
And your purchases help make this happen. There’s a bit of you in their landscape. How cool is that!?
Ka ora te Whenua, ka ora te tangata.
Caring for the whenua is the first priority.
Everything else must be measured against this.
Ka ora Whenua , ka ora to tangata.
